Jody Eaton Golf lesson video with Jody! We did three lessons and Jody did great. Good tempo and a fast learner. One thing I pointed out to Jody that applies to lots of new players, is what kind of clubs are you using. Of course, golf clubs that are from a dollar store won't be great. But also, golf clubs need to be the right height for you, and the right flexibility in the shaft for you. If you are playing with golf clubs that do not have the right height or shaft flexibility you are shooting yourself in the foot! so before you call it quits on golf, head out to your local golf course pro and ask about a fitting to see if you can find the right golf clubs for you. If you are in the Northwestern Ohio area, I highly recommend Tom Garcia at the Bowling Green Country Club!

Golf lesson with dad. Worked on pressing outward with the feet, being more on plane while swinging, and being more balanced.

a couple weeks ago, helped my mom keep her head down, her feet in the right position, and not let her hand position fall too low before swinging. she went from topping the ball mostly to being able to make good contact! great stuff!
2022 update: I will be giving some lessons at some point during the year but not right now.
My availability will be certain times during the weekends as I'm working another full time job.
The first weekend of June I'll be out of town.
I hope to start up around the 20th of May depending on the weather.
Lessons will be held at Dixie driving range in BG, OH, as long as there is availability.
Lessons will start at $40.00 an hour.

Hey everyone thanks for waiting! As of right now I will resume doing golf lessons!
My current availabilities are Sundays and Saturdays starting at approximately 1:00pm through 6pm. We will be hitting balls at the Dixie driving range. I have talked to a handful of people that are interested but right now slots are open!
When the middle of August comes I will actually have a little bit more free time and those times may change or expand!
The first lesson is free and every lesson after that is $30 per hour. Thanks for your patience and I'm looking forward to helping you all out in the future! I'll keep you all updated on future changes.
Hey everyone! important update for this year:
As of right now I will not be giving lessons until approximately some time this year in June or July.
That is because right now I am working two jobs as well as on my certification for becoming a professional golf instructor. I will be working close to 60 hours a week not including the work for my certification.
The things I have to do for my certification is as follows:
-shoot a 83 for 18 one more time at a course that is at least 6000 yards.
-read 4 golf textbooks and take an exam on them
-film myself doing a golf lesson and get it approved by the organization doing my certification
Once I shoot another 83 or better and then I have passed my exam, I will be able to do lessons again. In fact, starting this page and giving lessons last year was practice for me so that I could become good enough at instructions to be able to submit a good video for my certification.

In the meantime I will post update videos of my attempts of my rounds including some footage of me playing and I will break down what I did good and bad. So you all will be able to see into my own golf game! If I can talk the talk I better be able to walk the walk! Also if I have time and I am able I will post short videos of tips and tricks. Special video with my coworker kent! A big issue that beginners struggle with is trying to hit the ball too hard. If you swing too hard it's easy to be off balance or to not make good contact between the clubface and the ball. Kent demonstrates great control and stability in this swing as well as accuracy. Great stuff!
