You may have noticed a change! Warren County Composite MTB has become Southern Kentucky MTB (SKY MTB for short). We're a KICL/NICA 5th-12th grade coed mountain biking team based in the South Central KY area!

We're very pleased to announce that Trailfest is coming back to its roots in downtown Bowling Green this year at Low Hollow Trail! We're collaborating with SWKYMBA and the Hardin Co Stampede to bring this exciting event back to the Riverfront on Aug 30th 2025.

On Sat March 8th 9-11 if you love Low Hollow trail (and the Riverfront Park skills loop) you should come out and give it love. We're going to be cleaning it, doing trail maintenance and even working on some new features! We have to dig it outta the flood mud and get it ready for riding!

The Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League race series for 2025 is set! What does this mean? Well if you're already a part of our team you know this means goals to meet, fun with every pedal turn and friends to get back together with!

If you aren't part of the team and you have a 6th-12th grader (we're co-ed!) That wants to experience a different kind of sport with no bench where everyone rides and learns and has fun together get in touch with us today. The season begins in July and we'll have pre-season events beginning in April.

PS we may be opening up to 5th graders this season so stay tuned!

Hey everybody! Mark your calendars for Monday 9/9 @ 5:30pm. We're officially opening Hollow Riders Trail at Phil Moore Park with a ribbon cutting. We'll provide hot dogs and drinks while supplies last and everyone is welcome to come enjoy the trail!

Park in the Phil Moore Park parking lot, and walk or ride to the trail behind the ball fields... the trailhead starts at the flight deck at the top of the hill... you can't miss it!

Many thanks to SKY Restoration DKI for their donation of materials and labor to make the "Flight Deck" at Hollow Riders Trail a dream come true! With the completion of the Flight Deck and the signage being put up on the trail we're ready for our grand opening. More details coming soon but make plans to come out and enjoy this trail with your fam on Mon 9/9 in the afternoon.

We want to partner up with more orgs in the future to make this trail even more fun. If you want to sponsor materials or materials/labor we'll provide the vision, plan and a sign on more wooden features. We'd like to add a drop zone with progressive drops, an awesome boulder bridge and a wooden tabletop to our trail. You get a permanent fixture with a sign advertising your support to the community and we enhance our trail making it more fun and more of an asset to our team, youth wanting to get into mountain biking and the cycling community as a whole! Win / Win all around!

It was an exciting weekend at Buffalo Creek trail system in Elizabethtown, KY at Race 1 of the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling Association (KICL) race series! The entire team fought hard for their position, much improvement was made on the trail and several finished the race even though they had mechanicals! We'd like to thank the league, parents, supporters and our sponsors for helping our team and supporting this wonderful sport that benefits our riders and the community at large!
