Kelly is a Professional Baseball Hitting and Fielding Instructor. Kelly was drafted in the 29th round by the Detroit Tigers in 2003.
He was awarded Most Improved Player in 2004 along with taking home the Class A title winning the Single Class A Championship with the West Michigan Whitecaps where he took home the Whitecaps Playoff MVP award. Kelly was awarded the Gold Glove Award in 2004 & 2005 and was named the best defensive first baseman in the Florida State League by Baseball America. In 2007 was named Independent Baseball S
