Welp our 2025 race season has come to an end! 32 Years! We started drag racing when Kimbra was 9 in Jr Dragsters. We have spent a lot of time at drag strips! We finished up this year at World Wide Technology Raceway racing the NHRA North Central Division 3 Double. Kimbra lost 2nd and 3rd rounds. Joe lost first round both races. We didn’t perform as well as we would have liked but it was a fun year nonetheless. It’s going to be a busy off season and the 2026 season will be here before we know it! #305

This was a very busy weekend for Fuesting Motorsports! Wild W***y ran the Funny Car Chaos show at Great Lakes Dragaway with the America's 1320s. The granddaughters came out to help PopPop and had a grand old time! While they were having fun Kimbra and I were south running the NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway. We were having fun until second round where a -.004 red ended our day. Our last race of the year will be this week back in St Louis running the NHRA North Central Division 3 Double Header.

Wild W***y is finally coming out to play this weekend! Bill will be running with America's 1320s. What can be more fun than Funny Cars?! Come on out and see a great show at Great Lakes Dragaway!

A Huge Thank You to Pete Llamas, Joe and Mandi for helping run the Illinois Outlaw so Kimbra and I can go south to World Wide Technology Raceway to run the Midwest Nationals. The last few races have not been fun so hoping the mother/daughter duo can turn things around!

Never Before, FUNNY CAR CHAOS coming to The Legendary Great Lakes Dragaway. FRIDAY & SATURDAY Sept 26 & 27, 2025.

What can I say about our weekend here at Beech Bend Raceway Park? It sucked!! That’s all I have. Team McIlvain showed up with 4 cars at the NHRA North Central Division 3 points race Surely someone would make it past first round but alas not to be…so we’re doing what all drag racers do, load up and head to the next! U.S Nationals here we come!

Unfortunately we’re on the way home from the NHRA North Central Division 3 points race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Joe lost 2nd round last night and Kimbra lost 3rd round this morning. Kimbra’s Mcilvain Racecars has been running great with her Diamond Engine and Machine motor and Hughes Performance converter! Three great companies to work with! Joey’s truck is being a punk! But we will figure her out! Next up will be the Division race at Beech Bend Raceway Park! #305

What A Week! We pulled in at 1 am Monday morning from Summit Motorsports Park and now we’re at Great Lakes Dragaway for the Out-A-Sight Drags. Kimbra lost 2nd round in the second race. So she had 2 second round losses. Better than 2 first rounds 🤷🏻‍♀️. The car and Kimbra are running good so excited to see what we can do at our next Divisional at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. But first me and Wild W***y have to get this 48 Fiat down the track. Always fun to run with the Brew City Gassers! Come on out and see us!

We’re still here at Norwalk! Due to rain we’re just a little behind. Ran the first race yesterday. Kimbra lost second round with a -.001 light putting us on the trailer. Joe also lost second round on a breakout with the truck running 9.89. That was our best lap with the truck so we thought maybe we were figuring it out and then we found some leaks 🤦🏻‍♀️ Two close races that didn’t go our way. Joe won’t be racing the second race but Kimbra is all set for race #2!

The team is back together!! Waiting patiently for the rain to be gone and racing to begin at the NHRA North Central Division 3 points race at Summit Motorsports Park. We survived a bad storm last night. Trash cans were spinning like the devil himself was in them then off they’d go down the road. Tornado Sirens, spinning trash cans and Gus and Kimbra running for their lives! Quite the experience! Today we’ll get one more time run then go into first round. Kimbra ran good yesterday, Joe ran slow, so more tweaking to be done.

After battling heat, wind, cold and dust storms for 4 days Kimbra found herself in the finals today at the Route 66 Raceway Nationals! Came up a little short losing to Jeff Cheney in a close race. Can’t be more proud of how Kimbra drove the Mcilvain Racecars Super Comp dragster all weekend! Next up for FM will be the NHRA North Central Division 3 race at Summit Motorsports Park.
