In the interest of public safety due to a large, 3-day event held at Phil Moore Park & Drakes Creek, the access gate to the creek and dogpark will be restricted to the public Sept 11-13 all day. Monday morning, Sept 14, it will reopen at 7am. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

A burn ban is in effect in Warren County due to the lack of rainfall. If you do rent a picnic shelter from the county parks, you are still allowed to use our grills because they are enclosed. Fire pits are NOT allowed. for safety, please make sure not to let any hot charcoal fall on our grounds if you use the grills and we ask you to make sure they are out when you leave. thank you!

As a special note: If you call the main office of the parks in the mornings or early afternoon, we will not know about delays or cancellations until approx. 3:30pm when we hear from the leagues. Regarding their "Hot Weather Policy" playability, we are posting a link sent to us from the Football League, that is on their website, for concerned parents to read and be aware of. Please bear in mind, decisions on playability are made by the leagues and not till between the times of 3pm -4pm. If you call the office before that time, we do not have that information from the leagues yet. They go by what the National Weather Service says, see that link at the bottom on their page.
