There is no Trimix 1.5 but that’s definitely what it was. The Trimix 2 course will get us to 330’ in training and then it’s off to the races after that. Multi-mission, multi-environment capable divers. Helium is just a tool, but a very useful tool for deeper diving. Had a hell of a blast the last 4 days. Thanks to Terrence Tysall, Dave Ochs and my buddy Stephen - as well as the respective crews of Walker’s Dive Charters and South Florida Diving Headquarters for the professional support divers and spot-on Captains and crew that helped make this course happen. I didn’t hit 200’ (197’ was my max) but yup… I’m that guy who put his computer in the damn sand to get it… I’ll admit it, haha. Great wrecks all.

Riviera Beach - The Ande Wreck. Max Depth 197’. Gases 18/45 Trimix, Nitrox 37’ and O2. Having a blast, man. Seas were a dodgy 6’-8’ with the occasional 10’ - just rollers, man. Big thanks to hurricane ass-wound or whatever it’s called. Good times. The amazingly experienced crew of made this possible—along with some solid technical training by Terrence Tysall.

I am humbled to have earned my NAUI Course Director designation today. I’m exceptionally thankful for my friend and mentor David Ochs for all of the training and guidance I’ve received for nearly 10 years of working with Dave.

Congratulations to the Force Blue Ocean Conservation School – Class 5!

The Instructor Cadre, composed entirely of former Special Operations veterans, conducted a comprehensive NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver certification course, instilling in these divers a strong passion for ocean conservation.

Our final dive was a hands-on conservation project: using cutting tools to clean the pilings of the Juno Pier, removing fishing line, hooks, lead, and other entanglement hazards that threaten marine life. This effort was carried out in collaboration with divers from the Loggerhead Marinelife Center — together, we accomplished some meaningful and impactful work.

Moving air compressors in South Florida summer heat with some local divers from . All together? …about 2500lbs. Couple Fireman, former Army, a Marine in there somewhere… patriots all. High stress job? Get underwater…

Congratulations to Tyler for earning his NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver and Nitrox Diver certifications! This (5) day course involved a lot of classroom lecture, pool training and open-ocean diving. Tyler is a Marine, Fireman/Paramedic and veteran of Afghanistan. He’s now a solid Autonomous Diver!!!
