Windy windy morning so we dropped the yaks in the lake. First bait out was a sweet clown Knife fish but then it really slowed down. Picked off a couple peacock. THANKFULLY, offshore tomorrow!!

Day 1 of our August Week Trip. Solid snook and 1/3 on Tarpon! Freshwater Peacock Bass and Clownknife Fish tomorrow before the group heads offshore on Wednesday and Thursday!

Sommer had herself a good day offshore kayak fishing for the first time in Florida! Her team from California is competing in the Summer Slam tournament this Saturday. Hopefully she gets another Tuna just like that on tournament day!
