For the last two years, Darrin Haugen, Peak’s Chief Product Officer, has spearheaded the effort to embed PEAK Lôc8™ into our skis—a challenge that was far easier to envision than to achieve. Among many hurdles, Darrin worked tirelessly with our technology partners to engineer a device tough enough to endure the intense heat and pressure of ski production while still delivering the precision and durability you expect from Peak.
After testing the tech on the slopes himself, Darrin shared:
“I am extremely impressed with the performance of the PEAK Lôc8™ equipped Bode 98 that I’ve been skiing during this recent Montana storm cycle. The 98 is one of the best all-mountain skis ever produced, and the design integration of the Lôc8 device is very seamless, simple, and intuitive. You have no idea it’s there while skiing, and it allows for both global and local location info on your skis when you need it. It has turned out exactly as I envisioned when it was first conceptualized.”
Innovation takes time, but trust us—it’s worth the wait.

Last season, we dropped the Peak 78 late in the season, but it made a serious impression. The reviews from early adopters did not disappoint:
‘From frozen corduroy to deep corn snow and everything in between. Only had time to ski the 78 for one day, but it will be my go-to ski for the next season.’ – Ursula Howland
If you were on the fence last season, now’s the time to snag a pair. The Peak 78 is back, in stock, and ready to ship—but if last year’s demand is any clue, they won’t be here for long.

We’ve done it again! The Peak 98 by Bode just claimed it’s spot in the Men’s Journal Best Skis of 2025 lineup for the second year running. Named the Best for Pure Power, here’s what Men’s Journal had to say about the 98’s this year:
“Peak Skis are a revelation for skiers who crave versatility and top-tier performance.
The Peak 98 by Bode is a ski that you can really stand on. You can charge with it, lay it over with all your might, and it won’t overreact. Even our less-than-pro-skier testers found the Peak 98 by Bode initiated turns easily without requiring superhero power. It’s one of the most diverse skis we’ve skied.”
If you haven’t experienced the Peak difference, this is your sign. It’s time to step up.

Less than 40 days until Big Sky’s opening day, and we’re getting things dialed in here at Peak. Mother Nature is already setting the stage on Lone Peak, and things are lining up for an epic start to the season. The question is—are you ready? Time to gear up and get stoked for winter!
10/18/2024
The wait is over! We’re excited to finally introduce the 2024/25 Peak Ski lineup.
We’ve kept most of our skis just how you love them, but this season’s lineup includes a new and improved Peak 88 by Bode, and after a major upgrade the extra performance is going to blow your mind.
A year in the making, Bode re-engineered the Peak 88 to take full advantage of Peak’s patented Keyhole Technology. The result? Even smoother turn initiation and enhanced edge hold.
Already a favorite among Peak skiers and industry experts, the new Peak 88 levels up the versatile ski you love. Whether you’re dialing in turns on the groomers or charging big mountain lines, these skis bring the kind of innovation and precision that’ll keep a smile on your face from first chair to last.

As summer draws to a close, we’re rounding up our favorite summer moments captured by the Peak community, and this one takes the top spot!
On June 5th, , , and took Peak to the Peak when they skied the Ford Couloir on the Grand Teton. The day brought everything from gusty winds to isothermic post-holing, but breaking through the clouds at the summit and carving down 4 inches of untracked velvet made it all worth it.
Days like this remind us why we love the mountains, and it’s even better when you get the Grand all to yourself. Huge thanks to Jimmy and his crew for making Peak a part of such an epic adventure.
Stay tuned for more summer highlights from the Peak community!
