Some of our favorite people that we got to see at Globals this year! This was a big year with lots of important events but the people are still the best part.

Here's a picture of the brand-new Senior Master Cunningham and his instructor, Master Alex Miller (who is now, oddly enough, also his student).

Results from the 2026-2027 GTMA Global Celebration tournament:

Team Sparring
The Outlaws (H. Kamps, J. Aippersbach, M. Martin) second place in traditional sparring, third place in stick sparring.
The Vertically Inefficient Menaces (L. Cunningham, A. Hope, W. Kelley) second place in stick sparring.

Individual Competition
A. Hope - third place in open forms, fifth in traditional forms
L. Cunningham - first place in stick sparring, third in forms
H. Kamps - fourth place in traditional weapons
W. Kelley - fourth place in traditional forms and sparring
M. Martin - fifth place in traditional forms and weapons
J. Aippersbach - second place in open forms
E. Hope - fourth place in traditional forms
Master C - first place in traditional forms and weapons

Mrs. C did not compete following her SUCCESSFUL test for sixth degree black belt! Congratulations, ma'am!!!

Mrs. C - first place in stick sparring, second place in traditional forms, third place in traditional weapons
Mr. Hope - third place in open forms
Mr. C, Mr. Kamps, and Emma Hope all took fourth in their respective events!
