Remember as a Brookie you must attend at a minimum two swim meets this season. Our first meet is October 8th & 9th in Butte! All swimmers who attend this meet will get a Brookies winter cap!

Would you like to share your love of swimming with an international teen? Jakob from Germany and Ortensia from Italy are both competitive swimmers who would like to spend the coming school year as high school exchange students. To do so, they seek caring and active families to open their homes to them while they are here.
Both speak English and have insurance and spending money to cover their needs. Jakob enjoys swimming, skiing, waterskiing, table tennis, and basketball. At home he belongs to a swim club, and he has won several awards. While in the US, he would like to continue swimming because it is a big part of his life. He would also like to try American football or baseball.
Ortensia also belongs to a swimming club and would like to continue swimming while here in the US. She would also like to try track and play soccer.
Host families are volunteers who provide a bed, three meals per day, transportation when needed, love and encouragement.

Roxanne is the winner of a government-sponsored scholarship for her exchange year. She is an active, outgoing person who is not afraid to try new things. She shares that she comes from a very warm family who has taught her that a sense of humor is necessary to add colors in life. She thinks of herself as optimistic.
