Western tryouts are coming up!

Reminder you are only eligible to tryout if you attended one of the information meetings!!

When: Sunday September 27th at 2730 W Gartfield St

What to bring: A snug fit shirt (long sleeves preferred), nice western jeans, western boots or boots with a heel, helmet (some helmets and boots will be available if needed), slick back neat hair, and good attitude!!

Tryouts begin at 9:30 am, horse warmups and doors open at 8:30 am. Please arrive prior to 9:30 to get checked in. Abide by the speed limit and do not park in employee parking spots. Good luck and Go Cats!!

English tryouts are this Sunday!

Reminder that you are only eligible to tryout if you attended one of the info meetings.

You should expect to wear/bring:
Breeches or leggings
Snug fitting shirt (no tank tops or hoods)
Tall boots, paddock boots and half chaps, or boots with a heel (cowboy boots will work if thats all you have)
Helmet (some will be available if you do not have your own)
$15 cash or Venmo
A good attitude

Doors will open at 9am, and horse warmups will begin at that time as well. Tryouts begin at 10am. Please show up prior to 10am so you have time to check in and get ready. Abide by the speed limit and do not park in the employee parking spots. If you need a ride, join the groupme chat and we will find a way to get you there!

Destanee has been on the team for several years now, and has been such a wonderful teammate! She knows how to bring everyone together and make people laugh. She pointed out of limit 3/4 and into intermediate 5/6 this year! We will miss her and her dog, Crow, so much next year❤️‍🩹

Destanee has been on the team for several years now, and has been such a wonderful teammate! She knows how to make everyone laugh, and bring people together. Cyanea joined the English team in fall 2024, and has been an amazing part of the team! She competed in classes open 7/8, and helped the team achieve multiple high point team ribbons, and also received several high point rider! We will miss her very dearly, and wish her the best of luck at FSU grad school!

14 third-place finishes
12 fourth-place finishes
13 fifth-place finishes
