Need Service For eBikes Bought Online???
The use of eBikes for hunting continues to grow. A number of them are purchased online directly from vendors in Amazon while others are bought used through Marketplace or Craigslist. One of the big issues you'll come across if you purchased an eBike online, most local eBike shops in PA won't service them (even if it's a brand they carry) because you didn't buy it from them.
I just ran across that issue in wanting to triage a random power cut-off issue for a bike I bought online. In my search for a company in central PA who'll work on eBikes they didn't sell, most companies told me no or just didn't come across being confiden is bening able to help. Then I came across DNA BIKES LLC in Tamqua, PA (Schuylkill Co). In talking to them, they clearly explained to me that they have all of the equipment to test just about every eBike to diagnose any problem you may be experiencing. Not only that, but they also have the experience in working with various "online" brands to fix them as well. Of everyone I talked to, they are the ONLY one who was confident in being able to diagnose and fix my issues.
The diagnosis fee is $150 and that covers going over everything from the battery charger to the motors. Whatever the issue is, they will find the source of it. And if you want them to fix it, $50 will be credited from the $150 diagnosis fee to help cover that cost. Dropped mine off today and will update this post as to how everything goes.
