With prior experience as a certified welder, a wood truss assembler, quality control observer and inspector, engineering mentor and manager, Ren Carotti’s approach to engineering is to utilize a practical, common sense method in the design, construction, and investigation of projects while upholding and advancing the principles of the structural engineering field. His structural engineering experience includes projects using structural steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and pre-engineered lumber. Opening, operating, and maintaining my own structural engineering company has taught me the business side of engineering. I obtain and execute work contracts, manage business and professional relationships, and provide engineering services to clients in the construction, renovation, and damage assessment fields.
