In the past few weeks, Texas has seen 4 more fatal child drownings:

10 year old boy drowned at a beach in Brazoria county.

17 year old boy drowned in a canal in Hidalgo county.

7 year old girl drowned in an apartment pool in Montgomery county.

3 year old boy drowned in a backyard pool in Victoria county.

Remember that for every drowning that ends in death, there are 8 more children who drown and do not die, many of whom suffer lifelong brain and organ injury.

Please remember these children and these families with us today.

A Houston-area family is seeking more time for their 2-year-old daughter, Annelise Camp, after a Memorial Day drowning incident. Court documents show the family obtained a temporary restraining order as brain death testing approaches and they pursue a transfer to another hospital. MORE BELOW ⬇️

“He loved to swim and loved playing with his big sister. He loved Mickey Mouse and Toy Story. One of my favorite memories is him throwing spaghetti and him laughing when it would hit his sister.

Make sure your little ones know how to swim things happen so fast.”
