📣ANNOUNCEMENT

We will be attending to 2026 Elk Expo at the Elk Country Visitor Center July 25th and 26th.

Additionally, I will be winding down current operations and begin a transitory period while I plot out the next stages for North Country Gear Works. I plan to use the Elk Expo as a showing of that transition.

I began sewing with simple patterns like these organizer pouches. They're perfect for beginners, imparting crucial skills necessary for tackling tougher projects. Now advancing to more complex patterns for both personal projects and North Country Gear Works, but still organizer pouches remain a favorite of mine!

While an organizer pouch might not be seen as a revolutionary or innovative new product. I believe I have hit on something that strikes the ethos of North Country Gear Works- durable, versatile, and dependable gear.

I’m proud to introduce the Overstuff Organizer Pouch. These pouches are the perfect size for a variety of uses. Featuring a recycled nylon 4-way stretch fabric with an abrasion resistant UHMWPE ripstop grid, and a poly-fluorocarbon-free DWR coating. All in an ultralight package!

A limited run is available this weekend to patrons of the WV Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Sports Show. Available to the general public soon after!

New products on the way!

New year, new hats! Last year I stumbled across this hat style from and allowed me to style it as my own. Available on our website and in person at this years events… More on those to follow!

We will be at the Central PA Outdoor Show held the Clearfield County Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday. Find us in the AG building and check out all of the great vendors in other two Expo Halls on the fairground.

We will be at the West Virginia Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Sports Show this Saturday (9-7) and Sunday (9-4).

On display and debuting for the first time will be our new and improved Rack Strap V2. Featuring improved materials, design, and a variety of new accessories to support many outdoor pursuits.

We will also be a sharing a new unreleased product that you won’t want to miss!

I recently completed another custom gear project. In this scenario the customer was frustrated that the bracket clip kept sliding off and created a loud noise.

I sewed a simple channel to prevent this adding standard pals/molle webbing pockets on each side of the clip.
