Heart of Texas Car Show Benefit and Swap Meet

Believe it, or not, Jerry Norvell was speechless when the Child Welfare Board presented him a plaque in recognition of his years of service. Jerry and his family are instrumental in the success of the Heart of Texas Car Show Benefit and Swap Meet year after year. Jerry attends car shows throughout year handing out Save the Date cards and flyers. He advocates for the car show and the McCulloch County Child Welfare Board helping to collect prizes and sponsors for the car show. His wife, Staci, is the smiling face at the registration table, and she has the system for tallying the winners down to an art. Thank you, Jerry and Staci! We appreciate you and your family so very much. We couldn't do it without you!

Kid's Choice went to Curtis Hargrove and his 2024 Corvette that had a Transformer vibe with the convertible top.

David Grosch took home the trophy for Best Paint with his 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS. She was a beauty!

Best Interior went to Randall and Crystal Rae with this 1957 Chevy which is being raffled off by Sweetwater Lions Club. $100 per chance. Contact Crystal Rae or Sweetwater Lions Club for tickets and more information.

Best Engine goes went Carrie McNeese with her 1955 Chevy Belair.
