Another successful Minnesota bear season in the books!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our hunters who joined us at Arrowhead Wilderness Outfitters this season. From long hours on the stand and bears that kept us guessing, to successful hunts and stories that will be told for years — it was one hell of a season.

We appreciate every hunter who trusted us with their Minnesota bear hunt. The success is great, but the people, camp memories, laughs, and friendships are what make each season worth looking forward to.

The baits are getting attention, and the bears are starting to show up.

With multiple bears hitting consistently and activity picking up, things are shaping up for a solid Minnesota bear season. Now it’s all about keeping the baits active, watching the patterns develop, and counting down the days.

September 1 can’t get here soon enough.

Good luck to all the Minnesota bear hunters getting ready for opening day. Hunt safe, hunt hard, and hopefully all that bait hauling pays off.

🐻 Didn't draw a Minnesota bear tag? Don't give up just yet.

**August 1** is the deadline for lottery winners to purchase their bear permits. Any tags that aren't claimed will be released on August 5th at Noon CST as "leftover licenses" on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you've been hoping to hunt with Arrowhead Wilderness Outfitters, now is the time to prepare.

✅ Create your Minnesota DNR account now.
✅ Login to your Minnesota DNR account before Noon on August 5th. We hunt in Zone 31.
✅ Be ready based on previous years, the drawing will be over within a minute.
✅ Grab your tag and join us for an unforgettable Minnesota black bear hunt.

Every year, hunters who thought they missed their chance end up in a tree stand watching a mature black bear walk into one of our bait sites.
