Here are some opportunities to bowl on a sport pattern with the Minnesota Junior Bowlers Tour. The next event is in one week at McPete’s in Big Lake. This is a great opportunity to improve your game, earn scholarship money, and the option to compete for Junior Gold 2027 will also be available. If interested, make sure to register at mjbt.org or bowlmetrix.com. Read all of the information including the rules. Take a look at the schedule to see if there are any others you would like to attend.

⭐️Tournament Alert!
Here is information on some of the Flight Series Tournaments being held to the West of the Brainerd area. If you are interested in this Scholarship Tournament, you will bowl on a Sport Shot and compete with others in your same Division. It does mention that there is Junior Gold Qualifying where applicable as well. Please contact the Tournament Director, Nikki Hersrud, for information on the Junior Gold Qualifier fee (different per division) and if the Junior Gold Qualifier is offered at the location you would like to attend. These dates are not listed on the website yet, so you will be unable to register there as of this time. Nikki’s contact info is listed at the bottom of the flyer.
I’ll post more dates and locations around Minnesota as they become available.

Open House is taking place tomorrow morning at Jack’s House! Get registered and bowl a couple games while you are there! 🎳🎳🎳

Join us at Open House for Jack’s House Youth Bowling on 9/12/2026. Drop in to register between 9:30 am - 11:30 am.

Not everyone has the same story.
⭐️ Your child could have started Youth Bowling Leagues in Kindergarten, or they could have started in 7th grade.
⭐️ Your child could qualify for some tournaments, and not qualify for others.
⭐️ Your child could place in tournaments where they realize they love the game, and others might even win the whole thing or place high enough to win scholarships for college.
⭐️ Your child may want to do more than bowl the Youth Leagues eventually, and end up adding the High School Bowling Team as another activity.
⭐️ Your child might gain so much confidence with all they have learned, that they will want to bowl more special events such as sport shot tournaments, special scholarship tournaments, and even Nationals. 🎳
⭐️ Your child may have opportunities to meet Professional Bowlers and even bowl with them.
⭐️ Your child could earn a spot on Team USA. 🇺🇸
⭐️ Your child could be approached to join a College Bowling Team and continue their education after High School without having to give up the sport they have grown to love. 🎓
⭐️ Your child could go to that College having earned scholarship money since they were young, by simply taking part in the sport of Youth Bowling and attending and placing at tournaments. 💵
🌟 Youth Bowling can lead to High School Bowling, which can also lead to College Bowling. Whatever you or your child’s reason is, don’t let your child miss out on the fun, friends, competition, and glory!
