Our scuba diving classes are not time-based but more customized to fit the needs of the student who wishes to avoid cookie-cutter programs offered by other other NJ scuba diving schools. Having over fifteen years of teaching experience with regard to PADI certifications we know what works and what doesn't work in being able to effectively teach a student to be a safe, efficient and skilled scuba diver in NJ. With this wealth of knowledge and combined experience we are at an advantage to giving our scuba students lessons which will make them extremely competent with regard to their scuba diving skill-set. Scuba Guru is located in the town of Fanwood, NJ and caters to teaching New Jersey residents. Our staff consisists of a diverse team of highly accredited scuba diving professionals in the state of New Jersey. We also provide scuba lessons to residents who reside outside of NJ, such as New York and Pennsylvania. Due to our success we've commonly been sought out by students in other states because of our quality teaching style that is second to none. The reason being, we understand that each student learns differently and adjust our teaching style to the learning pace of each scuba diving student individually. Every scuba diving class we do in New Jersey is designed to maximize the learning capacity of the student, helping them acquire the diving knowledge and skills particular to the type of scuba diving he or she loves to do. We also come from the experience of knowing that New Jersey scuba diving is considered more technical than most diving in other parts of the world. The reason is that NJ scuba diving requires a higher skill set to handle low visibility and colder waters that contain currents and depth. For this reason, our scuba diving certifications, account for our divers need to handle more of a challenging set of circumstances in the water. Thus, when he or she does scuba diving in warmer higher visibility waters -- because that person has handled more technical dives in New Jersey -- it's always easier for them to handle such a task. Our goal is to prepare our scuba diving students for almost any type of circumstance that may arise in the open water and helping every student intuitively grasp the art of scuba diving to its maximum learning potential.
