Check out this purple jersey worn by Aris Brimanis while playing for the Philadelphia Phantoms during the 1996-97 season, the team's inaugural season in the American Hockey League. Brimanis recorded 32 points (14 G, 18 A) in 65 games that season.

The defenseman also appeared in 113 NHL games over seven seasons, totaling 14 points (2 G, 12 A) while spending time with the Flyers, Islanders, Mighty Ducks and Blues. A Hershey legend hangs up the skates 🐻

After 15 AHL seasons, longtime Hershey Bears defenseman and captain Aaron Ness has announced his retirement. A two-time Calder Cup champion in Hershey, Ness wraps up a great professional career that included 72 NHL games with the Islanders, Coyotes and Washington Capitals along with 818 AHL games where he recorded 339 points (61 G, 278 A). The 40th overall selection in the 2008 NHL Draft also represented Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics, recording an assist in four games.

We still have several Aaron Ness game-worn Capitals jerseys available, including this White Set 1 jersey from the 2016-17 season. Ness wore the jersey while appearing in two games for Washington that year, adding another chapter to a career that spanned nearly two decades of professional hockey. Werenski ▶️ Norris Trophy 👏🏆

Congratulations to Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski on being named the 2025-26 James Norris Memorial Trophy winner as the NHL’s top d-man. Werenski put together another outstanding season, recording 81 points in 75 games while adding 94 blocked shots and averaging 26:37 of ice time per game. His elite two-way play was a driving force behind one of the best seasons of his career and now has earned him the league’s highest honor for defensemen.
