We will have lessons today. We will ride if it is a light rain. If a hard rain, we will have lessons in the barn to learn other horsemanship lessons.

A reminder that there are no lessons today due to the difficulty of getting through town with the parade today and follow up activities.

Opening day on Saturday was a fully booked day and lots of fun! If you took pictures, parents, feel free to send them and I'll post them.

Openings for lessons this week are: Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm; Friday 6-7:30 pm. Private message if you are interested.

The riding ring fencing has been repaired and repainted, with a new gate. Many thanks to my husband for his hard work.

Opening day will be Saturday, June 12. Lessons will be available on Saturdays at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 4:30 pm. Friday evenings are also available at 4:30 pm and 6 pm. Other times may be possible depending on my schedule.

Prices are the same as last year. Group lessons within a family are $35 per person and private lessons are $40 per person. Each lesson is 1.5 hours of grooming, saddling, riding, and removing saddle/brushing horse.

We also offer time with a horse brushing and leading them around in the riding ring for those who are not wanting to ride. This gives our older horses some attention and helps them feel included in having people visit them.

Lesson slots are open to weekly riders first and open slots can be booked for those interested in riding occasionally at the beginning of each week.

* Weight limits apply of 150-180 lbs based on the horse
*If you book a lesson, that slot is held for you and can't be booked for someone else, so payment for the lesson is expected if you can't make it
* New registration forms can be emailed or completed prior to a lesson.
*Payment is requested prior to each lesson

Snow fell off the roof and damaged the stock tank heater, it appears. Thank goodness I keep a spare on hand.
