Clearing out the last stuff from the gym. If anyone wants to buy some of the mats let me know.

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes yesterday. Hopefully I replied to everyone. Since it's been asked a few times, yes...any former students who want to jump on the mats one last time this week is welcome. See everyone at the gym.

Unfortunately, this is going to be our last week. After 20 years, I will be closing the gym. A lot has happened really quickly. As most of you know I work another job before I go to the gym each night. On Wednesday I was offered a promotion and I'm on the fast track to upper management. This was a hard decision for me, but I decided to accept.
What I haven't shared with too many people up until now is the reason I accepted the position. After all these years of thinking it wasn't meant to be, my wife and I are finally going to be parents. I never thought it would happen, but a little over a month from now I will have a son. This was the deciding factor on me taking the promotion, even though it will mean I can no longer coach. I wish I could do both, but I can't. In the end, I have to do what is best for family.

I want to thank everyone past and present who has supported my dream of running the dojo. 20 years with all of my students is a blessing, and I thank everyone for being a part of it.

I've spoken with our billing company, and all accounts will be closed.

Thank you again to everyone. I look forward to one last week on the mats.
