About a year ago I decided to try Klingspor abrasives in my net-building workflow, just to see if they were any different. Honestly, I was surprised. They didn’t clog or burn as quickly as what I’d been using, and they seemed to cut cleaner and last longer while I shaped and finished net handles.

I’m not saying you have to switch, but if you’re doing a lot of sanding—especially on hardwoods—it might be worth trying something new. These ended up sanding faster and staying sharper for me, so they’ve become my go-to in the shop. Always nice when a small change makes the process a little smoother.

🎃🐟 Halloween Catch & Release! 🐟🎃

Just because trout harvest season ends today doesn’t mean the fishing fun is over! Some of the best action of the year happens right now during the catch and release season.

This stunning Neshobe River brown trout was caught and released by a customer using a Neshobe Net — proof that the fall bite is alive and well. 🍂

Keep fishing, stay spooky, and treat yourself to time on the water this Halloween! 👻🎣
