Southwest Missouri Wolves Baseball

Wolves had a cool opportunity recently to scrimmage the team from Taiwan prior to Taiwan playing in the Babe Ruth World Series! Thank you to BoA & Sho-Me for the great experience!

15U Wolves played in a mostly 16U tournament this weekend with 18 teams. These guys played great winning both pool play games to make the 8-team bracket and then winning 2 bracket games to get to the championship game. The Wolves fell by 1 run in the last inning to a 16U Rogers, Arkansas team to finish runners up. It was a great weekend of baseball and these guys competed hard all weekend!

Wolves have played very well against some good teams up at a Play 9 tournament in St. Louis. 3-1 in pool play gets them into the Sunday bracket playing on some nice college campuses! And some fun at Union Station. On to Sunday!

The 15U SWMO Wolves are in need of a guest player this weekend for a tournament in St. Louis area. Looking for AAA level comparable player. The roster need is primarily for 3 games Thursday and Friday but player would be welcome for the whole weekend. Please PM if interested.

Champs! Great way to start the summer. Wolves win top 15U gold bracket going 4-0 on the weekend. Had very good defense and pitching, not allowing more than 3 runs in any of the 4 games. Great group of young men!

Wolves kicked off their 15U season this weekend in the Joplin area. Wolves went 2-0 in pool play and then got a solid 8-2 win over a strong Kansas Blackhawks team from Wichita for first game of bracket. Championship game Sunday morning at 9:00! Thank you Bre Rost for the photos!

The Wolves came up short in their opening tournament but still had a solid showing going 3-1. Great pitching and defense led to wins in their first 3 games over AAA and majors competition before falling by one run in the semifinals to the eventual champions. These guys played extremely clean baseball all weekend and we got dingers from Junior and Isaiah. It’s going to be a fun season! Thanks as alway to Bre for the awesome pictures!

After a rainout to start the season in Springdale last week, Wolves got to kick off their games with a 6-0 win at Ballparks of America on Friday night.
