Rowan caught a nice chunky 20" rainbow last week. He was fishing a night crawler on a guided trip with Cody Spetz Fishing Adventures. The fish was released!

Double header action today on the trout pond. It was a quality over quantity kind of day.

Yet another great week of “catching”! The overall bite has been good on all ends of the fishing spectrum here in the Branson area. Ive been playing the utility guide the past week and have been targeting a handful of different species. Needless to say, we’ve been rather successful dipping our hand in the bass, trout, and crappie pot. I’m a huge fan of changing it up and targeting different species and not being stuck on one body of water for too long. Because Southwest Missouri offers such a diverse range of fishing opportunities, im thrilled to show it all off for my customers!

Spring has sprung here in the Ozarks. Heres a few pics from some recent outings to prove it. The past 2 weeks weve been seeing lots of fish moving to the banks to get their spawn on. We had ourselves some fun the past few days on the trout pond. Was fortunate to catch and release a 20” trophy rainbow accompanied by consistent action during our trips. Caught a few bonus baby brown trout as well which are really cool to see!

Full speed trout bite! I had the pleasure of guiding a great group from Iowa today. Weather conditions played a big role. With a looming cold front upon us, we caught them on everything from scuds to power worms and even a few bonus jerk bait fish! Days like today make me want to invest in a clicker counter. We lost count after 30 fish! Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my Friday.
