As we posted before, we will be closing our Berry St location.
Last day to shoot is 1/9, and last day doors will be open is 1/15
We can’t tell you what the outpouring of support has meant to us. Closing doors here is really ending an era for us, as a business and as a family. We have run this business with friends and family since the beginning, and it’s been hard to mentally and emotionally prepare for this transition. But sometimes, things are outside our control and we have to move onward and upward.
If you would like email updates, please visit the link in our bio and sign up for our email list, and be sure to follow us here and on Facebook.
Edit to add: we are still going to be moving, these are just the dates for our current location
The Orange County Indoor Shooting Range has been here in Brea for 21 years. Before us, two other range companies called this building home. Unfortunately, the company that rents the building out has decided that after almost 40 years, they no long want to have a shooting range in their facility. We were given the notice that our lease would not be renewed.
We have already begun the task of finding a building to call our new home. Moving the company to a new facility gives us the opportunity to build a range that will better serve the shooting community. We will be able to have a larger range with more lanes, and more space available for education, catering to shooters of all experience levels.
As we prepare to pack up our business here and look to the future, it’s given us time to reflect on our past. Over the last 20 years, we have worked with so many different people from our community. Boy Scouts have learned to shoot here, and then went on to join the armed forces or law enforcement. Domestic violence survivors have learned to protect themselves. Law enforcement officers have been coming here since the beginning. Families came together to learn, friends
came to have fun, and people came here on dates. People from other countries came here to experience a freedom that they aren’t granted by their own government.
That freedom is one we don’t take for granted, and we are committed to continue serving the shooting community. It has been, and will continue to be, important to us that people have a place to educate and arm themselves.
This move will be a challenge, but it’s one we are excited to take on with all of you. You can follow us on Facebook, Instagram and tiktok for updates on the construction, gun shop opening, and the range facilities opening.
Lastly, and probably most importantly, we wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your patronage over the years. It means the world to us and we sincerely hope we will see you when we open the doors at the new shop.
Today the range will be closing at 3pm.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and we will return to normal hours tomorrow.
Thank you!

“What do I need to bring with me to buy/receive a firearm?”
In the state of California, you need to bring with you:
✅ Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)
✅ Real ID
or
✅ Drivers license/ID with federal limitations
AND either a valid passport or a copy of your birth certificate
✅ Secondary proof of residency (utility bill no more than 90 days old, car registration, property deed, notarized rental agreement)
❌ cell phone bills, bank statements, hunting/fishing licenses, voter registration and pay stubs DO NOT COUNT as secondary proof of residency
⚠️ “I filled out my DROS paperwork, why haven’t I gotten my gun yet?” ⚠️
Reasons you may not be able to pick up your firearm:
⚠️ there is a 10 day mandatory waiting period, but the department of justice has up to 30 days that they can hold a firearm while processing paperwork
⚠️ you have been convicted of a felony- in which case, you MAY NOT posses a firearm
⚠️ you were recently charged with a crime where charges aren’t cleared in the DOJ system
⚠️ you have already exceeded the one firearm per 30 day period limit(if purchasing a handgun)
