Our next spotlight is Claire, who was recently promoted to Co-President! Claire has been with CCI since 2006. What started as a stepping stone quickly turned into an industry she fell in love with, thanks to the people who make it special. Now, she’s grateful for the opportunity to carry on her father’s legacy alongside her brother.
Claire says one of her favorite parts of her role is the incredible team she gets to work with. She feels blessed to be surrounded by people who take pride in what they do and show up every day ready to do an exceptional job for CCI and our customers!
Outside of work, her husband and three sons are her everything. She’s cherishing these moments with them as they are growing fast!
As for a fun fact people may not know, Claire shared that her now-husband surprised her with skydiving for their very first date!
We’re grateful for Claire’s 20 years with CCI and all she brings to the Company! Congratulations on this exciting new chapter!

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Nicholas Vermeer, better known around CCI as Vern! He’s our Product Supervisor over the ArmorCote U-Bolt department and has been with CCI for almost 13 years, first starting with the company in 2008.
Originally from Nebraska, Vern came to Louisiana while serving in the Army in 2001. A year later, he met a girl from Breaux Bridge and started working at CCI so he could work close to his new home and the rest is history!
Today, Vern oversees a small crew where he says initiative, independence, and knowing how to wear different hats are important to getting the job done.
Outside of work, Vern enjoys exercising, relaxing with his cats, and tinkering with fi****ms. One of his favorite things to do is going to the shooting range with his 16-year-old daughter!
A fun fact people may not know is Vern also served three terms in the Army, including 18 months in Iraq, and his son is a Navy veteran!
We’re glad to have Vern as part of the CCI team and appreciate the experience and leadership he brings to the U-Bolt department!

This week’s spotlight is Kalob who has been part of the CCI team for 4 years and works as a welder in our Casing Spacer department!
A Saint Martinville native, Kalob says he explored a few different fields before welding caught his attention and stood out from the rest.
One of his favorite things about working at CCI is knowing he works for a company that cares about its employees—and getting a good laugh throughout the day is always a plus!
Outside of work, Kalob likes staying busy with the gym, gaming, traveling, and reading to keep learning and expanding his knowledge.
Looking ahead, he sees himself becoming more established in his role, being a key part of the company, and continuing to put himself in a better position in life.
We’re happy to have Kalob on the CCI team and appreciate the attitude and drive he brings to the Spacer department!

Last week, after WEFTEC wrapped, we hosted 35 of our valued sales reps in Breaux Bridge, LA! We had a full couple of days filled with live music, field training, sales meetings, plant tours, resource training, swamp tours and, of course, good food! We are so grateful for our sales representatives across the continent for your time and talent.
