Meet Abigayle Cox, CT 🎨

Say hello to Abigayle — counselor trainee and student art therapist here at PGW, currently earning her Master’s in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ursuline College.

Abigayle believes healing doesn’t always start with words. She works alongside children, adolescents, and families, using art-based methods to help them explore, express, and connect, especially when talk therapy alone doesn’t feel like enough.

Bubbly, grounded, and deeply relational, Abigayle sees the therapeutic relationship itself as part of the healing, a space where repair, growth, and insight can unfold together. She offers individual, family, and art therapy sessions, both in-person and virtual, under the direct supervision of Sarah Saunders, LPCC-S.

Meet the Team: Abby Schultz, DT 🧩

Abby is the heart behind our Neuro Clinic and behind so many families finding a new way forward.

As a Developmental Therapist, Behavior Specialist, Psychometrist, and Early Intervention Practitioner, Abby supports neurodivergent children and their families through a neurodiverse-affirming, relationship-based approach. She works with kids navigating autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, giftedness, anxiety, and selective mutism , helping them build communication, emotional regulation, and a strong sense of identity.

Her style is child-led and play-based, drawing from DIR/Floortime, Responsive Teaching, and the Hanen Program, with Polyvagal Theory and trauma-sensitive practices woven throughout. Abby is passionate about helping parents move from compliance-driven approaches toward connection-centered parenting that builds resilience and confidence.

She holds a Master’s in Education with a certificate in Early Intervention and Developmental Support, is trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), and — as a mother to two neurodivergent children herself — brings lived experience into every session.

Abby offers autism evaluations, parent coaching, DIR/Floortime play therapy, IEP advocacy, and neurodiverse-affirming family support — in-person, in-home, or virtually.
