Q4- 2025 OUTSTANDING STUDENTS

Michael (Adults)- what a guy. has been training long before the brand NKM was in action, Michael has been an incredible student, and has taken on many responsibilities within the organization. teaching kids and adults alike, we cherish this man.

Kaya (Youth)- has been a staple part of our team. just earning her blue belt in youth class, Kaya has been attending our MMA classes on Saturday which can be intimidating and exhausting. she has persevered through the first couple lessons and has become a great grappler and fighter.

Liliana (Kids)- she’s sweet but also tough as nails. this girl will do it all. between BBT and Master’s Club, liliana cannot be stopped. respectful, driven, and kind, she is the definition of an outstanding student.

We could not be prouder of our newest Instructor Black Belt, Mr. Sam Collins!!! 🥋

Mr. Sam has been up in Hermitage lately, but he made Brentwood what it is, and we are honored to get to learn with and from him. He’s worked for over 7 years to earn this incredible achievement, and he absolutely crushed it out in LA. 💪🏻

No matter which location you attend, when you say the creed with us on the mat this week, take pride in the fact that we really are a black belt school. Not every Krav Maga school has an Instructor Black Belt on their staff, and NKM now has THREE!

Discipline builds power in your character!

The padawans are absorbing and harnessing the force in their Bo Staff during Black Belt Training this quarter. These are our students committed to becoming Black Belts.

OUTSTANDING STUDENTS
Every quarter Nashville Krav Maga has to choose students from each discipline to select for an outstanding award. It’s tough.

For this quarter:

Kids
Shoizzat- is the man. You can’t stop this kid. Almost a full year of training and he’s been promoted 4 times, and has become not only a staple team member of our kid’s classes, but also a leader in the school.

Youth
Derek- is a long standing student in the program. Aging through kid’s ranks and now roughly halfway to Jr. Black Belt, Derek is eager to learn and is always dissecting and breaking down techniques so he has full understanding of how everything works. His recent addition to our Black Belt Training program has pushed him to new levels, which seem hardly a challenge to this super intelligent young adult.

Adults
Vanessa- super mom. Having a kid in the kid’s program who was also a previous outstanding student, this family is truly apart of the community. Vanessa trains hard, fights hard, and somehow juggles life and family responsibilities all at the same time. She is outstanding.
