Attention all competitive tennis players!
Especially our Elite and Jr. Elite development program players. What have you been doing to keep your tennis skills sharp and to keep yourself in competitive tennis playing shape?! This is not the time to be hanging out and losing your edge and getting "soft."
I want to challenge everyone to post something by video or test to this post with something that you are doing to stay sharp, healthy, fit. Remember: doing "a little of something is better that a lot of nothing!" So, let us see what you have been doing to that end.
Below is the breakdown of my cardio workout from this morning that I am doing at least 3 x per week. And this entire workout is done INSIDE my house without the use of machines etc. Just movement, footwork and agility drills for 45 minutes. So again, let us know what you are doing.
Lessss go!!!

Hey, Maryland Farms Tennis! Check out the video below. I'll be posting daily either a video, photo or something to let you know what I've been up to, and\or to say hello. I encourage all of you to do the same. We are one big tennis family after all, and we need to stay in touch until we can get back to "The Farm" and on the courts. See you soon!

Hello, Maryland Farms Tennis Crew!!
I hope that everyone is staying safe, active and are not driving one another too crazy 😀 These are very uncertain times at the moment, and I hope that the powers that be are able to solve this issue to the point where we can all get back to some balance of life normalcy in the not too distant future.
Need to be hitting around that little yellow ball!! But have to wait until we get the "all clear" which will hopefully come by the first of April. I will send a formal email to all tennis members once some clarity is determined on this timeline.
Since there is not any tennis being played or watched currently throughout the area and world, I thought that I would start a conversation and ask "what have you been doing to stay sane, healthy, active etc.?"
I will start: In the past week I have visited 3 state parks, hiked 30 plus miles and turned my downstairs study and part of my garage into a temporary workout and cardio space. First home workout was today (2.5 hours). Felt great! Plan to paint a downstairs half bathroom this week. Painting....not one of my favorite things. It's a close second to moving..as in state to state, across town, down the street etc.. 😏
So, keep the thread/stream going!! What have you been up to during these crazy times?!.......
