Who’s ready for a challenge? Who’s ready to support a good cause while pushing yourself to the max & out of your comfort zone? 🙋🏼‍♀️

In just 13 days I’ll be starting the Taji100 which if you followed me last year you would know that the is an annual charitable run that honors our military heroes & raises funds for military veterans 🇺🇸

What do you need to do ?!

Complete 100 miles (running/walking) in the 28days of February ✨

This is 100% free, just sign up on their website but of course if you are in the financial state to, please donate any amount you can to help support this non-profit organization ❣️

So who’s ready?! Doesn’t matter if you are a pro runner or just beginning any one can do this, any one can push themselves & achieve their goals ! I want you to join me on this challenge! I will be there for you all 100 miles keeping you motivated & pushing you towards the goal!

Let’s talk Holidays ✨

With Thanksgiving being tomorrow I wanted to give you all a few tips & reminders to help get you through the next few days⬇️

🔹You won’t gain 10lbs from one day of eating
🔹Don’t starve yourself the day before/ morning before Thanksgiving dinner
🔹Go for a walk, run, or get a workout in before you eat
🔹Since protein will most likely be the least consumed nutrient tomorrow, have a protein shake before hand as it will help you stay on track & also will help keep you full longer
🔹Drink lots of water throughout the day
🔹ENJOY ALL the FOOD 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🔹Friday, use all the extra carbs/energy you have & lift glutes/quads/hamstrings

Please remember to build a healthy lifestyle you don’t need to diet on the holidays, enjoy life in the moment, enjoy the time with your loved ones & remember you won’t gain 10lbs of fat from one day of eating!

& if someone is telling you to eat “healthier alternatives” to some of your favorite foods like rolls, mashed potatoes, stuffing, RUN lol you don’t need that type of negativity in your life 🤷🏼‍♀️

Let’s talk about Protein 🤩

Did you know 💭

Protein is an essential macronutrient that helps build muscle, repair tissue, and make enzymes and protein.

Also helps reduce appetite & hunger levels, increase muscle mass & strength & helps aid in recovery after exercise


While most individuals are able to get the proper amount of protein throughout the day, some may need to supplement with protein powder which is 100% okay! What’s important is that you are eating/consuming the proper amount of protein for your body & goals!

I personally have days where I can easily hit my protein goals & others where I need to supplement & when I do supplement I prefer protein powder ! Such high quality I gradients, doesn’t upset my stomach & tastes absolutely amazing 🤤

I know a lot of women specifically are afraid of protein/ protein powder because they believe it will make them gain weight or “bulky” but that’s not the case & everyone no matter their age, goals, fitness levels should be getting the proper amount of protein in their diet

It’s Monday, It’s a new week ❣️

While I know many dread Monday’s & they come soooo fast after the weekend, let’s start looking at Monday’s as a fresh start.

What’s something you want to accomplish this week? Do you want to workout this week, do you want to stay on your nutrition this week? Do you want to spend more time with family? No matter what it is write it down, comment it on this post & I will check in with you this week & help motivate you to hit those goals!

Last night I worked on a list of things I want to accomplish on my week off:
🔹 I want to finish painting our house
🔹 I want to spend more quality time with the kids since I’m home all week
🔹 I want to stay on track with my nutrition & workouts

Think about your goals & what you want to accomplish & what you need to do to hit those goals !

Alright you guys, results are in for my 6 week transformation 🤩

Starting weight: 173.4
Ending weight: 159.8

I am literally in shock that I hit below 160 I just never thought it would ever happen and it did 🤩

Total loss over the last 6 weeks = ⬇️ 13.6 lbs & ⬇️ 11.65 inches around my body !

No crazy pill, no magical shake, no long workouts - just hard work, dedication, dumbbell only workouts 4-5 days a week & only 2 days of cardio in the last 6 weeks! & yes I def. had days where I fell off track or over ate but as you can see that didn’t stop me from hitting my goals & it won’t stop you either. Find a balanced lifestyle that fits YOUR life not someone else’s. Always remember you don’t need to workout everyday of the week, your body actually needs rest days! & you don’t need to workout hours on end!

This is just the start, can’t wait to see where I am at in another 6 weeks 💪🏼

✨Week 5 Results ✨

Another week down & hit another new low weight! I am officially down 12.4lbs & only 1lb away from my goal weight that i set MONTHS ago! 1 pound you guys that’s it 🤯 who thinks I can hit my goal weight by next week 😬

I have 1 more week left of the little black dress project & I am so ready to absolutely kill it!

It’s crazy to me the difference I am seeing & feeling from the past 5 weeks! This is just the beginning though trust me, I have so many goals I am ready to crush after these 6 weeks just you wait 😏

✨Remember, you don’t need to workout EVERY day, you don’t need to spend hours & hours working out & you don’t need to starve yourself or isolate yourself to reach your goals! Find what works for your body, for your lifestyle & for your health! ✨

Can you believe it !

Only 12 more Friday’s until 2021!

That’s it, just 12 weeks left of the year. That means you have 12 weeks to take back the year, to get back on track & rock those goals you set at the start of 2020.

We all know this has & still is a crazyyyy year, but what’s stopping you from taking control of your health & making small changes? Do t wait until New Years to make a resolution, do it now & you will be 12 weeks ahead of everyone else

Are your kids active? With schools being closed (at least we are at located) children are spending more tome on electronics than ever before !

So i am curious... are your kids still getting physical activities in?

Just like for adults, physical activity is so important for children as well! A few benefits include:
🔹 stronger muscles & bones
🔹 lower risk of becoming overweight
🔹 lower chance of getting type 2 diabetes
🔹helps maintain lower blood pressure & blood cholesterol levels
🔹improves posture and balance
🔹help improve focus throughout the day

There are sooo many benefits when it comes to physical activity with children, I highly encourage everyone to teach their children just how important it is to move their body & that exercise and movement should never feel like a punishment but a blessing ✨💙

PS - I don’t force them to workout, I encourage any & all types of physical activity but they just love to mimic my workouts and it’s so fun to watch them !

✨ What’s Stopping YOU ✨

What is stopping you from doing what you want to do? What’s stopping you from your goals? What’s stopping you from being the person you want to be?

Are you afraid of failing?
Are you afraid of judgment?
Are you afraid of change?

Look I get it, I’ve been there, shoot I still am afraid, I care so deeply about what people may think or say about me that it affects me daily & it’s something I work on 24/7. But what I am learning & teaching myself is to not worry what others may think of you, focus on yourself and always keep a positive mindset. Too many people have negative outlooks on life, don’t allow them to bring you down 💙

Go after your dreams, smash your goals & life your life to the absolute fullest. Life is too short to sit around and think what if 💭

✨life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than you are to your comfort zone ✨

End of week 4 check-in photos 🤩

Holy crap, comparing this weeks photos to my starting pics is INSANE! I can see so many changes in my body and am so happy with my progress thus far! I am officially down 11.2 pounds now!

I will be honest I went in to this week frustrated, my good ole friend came to visit(ladies you know what I mean) & I was hovering around a gain of 2-3 lbs for the first 4 days this week. My old def would have given up and said screw it Im already up let’s just enjoy some food but after taking a set back and knowing my body and knowing I’m up in weight cause of my period I kept to my plan and ended up down another 1.2lbs

This is a reminder to you that your weight will change day by day for so many reasons whether it’s based off of a meal you ate or you lifted heavy the day before or ladies it’s around that time of the month for you!

2 weeks left of this project & ready to absolutely kill it & see more changes !
