Had Kyle and his buddy out yesterday and what a scoter hunt they had. All birds decoyed very well, many in your face shots. They shot an all Drake limit of Scoters with an Old Sqaw Drake that wanted to check out the scoter spread.

Catching up on a couple posts. Brian had a good scoter hunt with a lot of birds in the area.

Had Tom and his dad Tom Sr. out this morning they had an exceptional morning of all Drake old Sqaw. We finished up early and they were nice enough to even buy us breakfast at the local diner. Great Hunt with Great people. Semper-Fi Tom.

Had Matt out on Saturday Day 2 with his cousin CJ. A lot of boat traffic out there with the nice weather before the Storm. They had a steady pick all morning of exceptional Old Squaw Drakes.

Had Matt out today for a hunt, a lot of birds all day, but nothing would commit. We then found a few that were willing. They even let the captain play. Old Squaw Layout hunt for them tomorrow.

Productive and quick Old Squaw hunt with Duck Dave and Ryan Webb with a couple Mergs and a bonus Honker that got to close to the layout boat.

Congratulations to Leen Madsen & Tony Delucchi from Volanti Flyway in Fairfield California. Leen completed his UWC North American Waterfowl Grand Slam with us here at Kettle Creek Outfitters in NJ. His last and final duck of fhe 41 was the American Black Duck. Tony was able to check the black off his list as well, but has a few more to go. What a great few days we had afield with today alone bringing a limits of Blacks, Pintail and Canadian Honkers..

Aydin & Ryan had a great Atlantic Brant hunt this morning in the fog. Aydin got his first banded bird to boot. 👍🏼

Yesterday’s post looking for another gun or two ended up being a Good Scoter hunt today. With a couple Brant even one for that captain. Wish we had another hunter or two would have resulted in more birds…. Tomorrow is Old Sqaw (long tail).
