Today’s high is going to be 86 degrees, Manasquan inlet tides for today are as follows: high tide 12:37am & 1:25pm, Low tide 6:54am & 7:08pm, sunrise 5:27am, sunset 8:23pm. Beach and boating conditions for today, W Winds 5 To 10 Kt. Seas Around 3 Ft. Wave Detail: W 3 Ft At 7 Seconds And Se 3 Ft At 8 Seconds. A Slight Chance Of Showers This Afternoon. Tonight N Winds 5 To 10 Kt. Seas Around 3 Ft. Wave Detail: Se 3 Ft At 8 Seconds And N 2 Ft At 3 Seconds. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend anther nice day. Fishing remains good in general. Good reports in the Manasquan river with plenty of bluefish, fluke, and stripers being landed. Reports from the canal of stripers with a mix of blues, eels are the bait of choice for stripers. Grab some eels and killies and go have some fun. Our local beaches are producing plenty of stripers on clam, fish the last 2 hours of high tide and the first 2 hours of the outgoing. Sea bass was good, plenty of fish landed you just have to w**d through the shorts to get some keepers. Crabbing is finally starting to pick up at the bridge definitely worth giving it a try. Tonight Sw Winds 10 To 15 Kt. Seas 2 To 3 Ft. Wave Detail: S 3 Ft At 4 Seconds And Se 3 Ft At 9 Seconds. Another beautiful day and the weekend is here, fishing remains good in general. Good reports yesterday in the Manasquan river with plenty of bluefish around and fluke and stripers being landed. Tonight Sw Winds 5 To 10 Kt, Becoming Nw After Midnight. Seas Around 2 Ft. Wave Detail: E 2 Ft At 10 Seconds And N 1 Foot At 2 Seconds. Fishing remains good, good reports of sea bass off our local wrecks and reefs, no reports of fluke being landed outside yet. Reports from the canal and Manasquan River of fluke, blues and stripers being landed, and reports of fluke at the inlet. So grab those eels and chase down some stripers or get some killies or gulp and hunt down some fluke. Plenty of stripers off or local beaches on clams or bunker, the bite has been really good. Wave Detail: E 3 Ft At 10 Seconds And S 2 Ft At 5 Seconds. Isolated Showers This Afternoon. Tonight E Winds 15 To 20 Kt, Becoming Ne 5 To 10 Kt After Midnight. Seas 3 To 5 Ft. Wave Detail: E 4 Ft At 6 Seconds And E 3 Ft At 9 Seconds. Good reports of sea bass off our local wrecks and reefs, no reports of fluke being landed outside yet. Beach and boating conditions for today, Small craft advisory in effect until 11:00am. Nw Winds 5 To 10 Kt, Diminishing To Around 5 Kt Late This Morning, Then Becoming Sw Early This Afternoon, Becoming S 10 To 15 Kt With Gusts Up To 20 Kt Late. Seas 3 To 5 Ft. Wave Detail: E 5 Ft At 10 Seconds. Tonight Sw Winds 10 To 15 Kt With Gusts Up To 20 Kt, Becoming W 5 To 10 Kt After Midnight. Seas 3 To 4 Ft. Wave Detail: E 4 Ft At 10 Seconds And S 2 Ft At 3 Seconds. Conditions are better today then yesterday, not much to report from yesterday due to the weather but we did get reports from the canal of fluke, blues and stripers being landed. Fishing in the bay and river would probably be a better choice today, targeting fluke and stripers. Hopefully sea bass on the local wrecks and reefs will continue like it did all last week . Reports of squid around, it would be great if we get a repeat of bluefin like we did a few years ago. So grab those eels and hit the canal or Manasquan river for stripers or get some killies or gulp and hunt down some fluke. Beach and boating conditions for today, Small craft advisory in effect through late tonight. N Winds 20 To 25 Kt, Becoming Around 20 Kt Late. Seas 3 To 5 Ft. Wave Detail: N 5 Ft At 5 Seconds And E 1 Foot At 9 Seconds. Tonight Ne Winds 15 To 20 Kt With Gusts Up To 25 Kt, Becoming N 5 To 10 Kt After Midnight. Seas 3 To 5 Ft. Wave Detail: Ne 5 Ft At 9 Seconds And Ne 4 Ft At 6 Seconds. Well it’s gonna blow a bit today, better off fishing inside if you can find a spot to hide from the wind. Yesterday was another good day on the Sea bass grounds with reports of limits being landed. Striper fishing remains good off the surf on clams and bunker chunks. Blues reported in the Manasquan and the canal, striper fishing remains good in the Manasquan river, Canal, and Barnegat Bay. Live eels in the canal and paddle tails. SP’s, gliders, and drifting live eel in the river. Paddle tails and SP’s in the bay. Fluke fishing is okay on the outgoing tide. Killies, spearing, and gulp is best for fishing the bay and river.
