💙☀️🪩Had an amazing end of the season celebration with my incredible faculty and the best team moms out there! Thank you for being by my side through it all and making my life easier. I am so blessed to have you all in my life. A special thank you to the hubbies and dads who love dance as much as we all do. I know it can be a crazy life but your support means the world to us. 💙🎓Our fifth graduating Senior is our beautiful Samantha Kurek. Sam…I have absolutely loved our time together and watching you grow up into the amazing young woman you’ve become has been magical. I am going to be lost without you on Saturday mornings, for as long as I can remember it’s been you and I. I want you to go after every dream you’ve ever had and always know I’m just a phone call away. I am so proud of you and please come teach with me whenever you can. I’ll be waiting with arms wide open. Love you lots…Ms. Maria

💙A little note from Sam…

Hi my name is Samantha Kurek and I have been dancing at First Class for over 13 years! I have also been teaching for 2 years and assisting for 7 years!

I am graduating from Brick Memorial High School, where I was president of my class and the national honor society along with roles in many other clubs and organizations!

This fall I will be continuing my education at Vanderbilt University where I will be majoring in Special Education!! One day I hope to pursue my passion working as a teacher for special needs students!

The thing I love most about FCDA is the constant love and support given to all students! Through all my injuries and rough times, my FCDA family has been by my side through it all💙

My favorite FCDA memory was becoming an official teacher where I learned my true passion for both dance and teaching!

To the younger dancers, my best advice I could give is to be kind to others AND yourself! It is so so important to appreciate how dedicated and amazing you all are while also sharing that love with everyone else❤️

💙A little note from Alyssa…

Hi! My name is Alyssa Kirkpatrick. I have been dancing for 14 years and joined FCDA four years ago. I love spending time at the beach and being with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, going on walks, and trying new things.

I am graduating from Burlington County Institute of Technology – Medford, where I focused on dance throughout all four years. Alongside dance, I was involved in honors and AP classes, as well as numerous clubs and honor societies.

This fall, I will continue my dance journey at Adelphi University as a BFA Dance major. One day, I aspire to perform professionally while also becoming a physical therapist specializing in dance.

One thing I love most about FCDA is the family it gives you. When I joined FCDA, I immediately gained a second home, a family, and an incredible support system. Everyone is always there for one another, and no one ever gives up on anyone.

My favorite FCDA memory is Nationals. It’s not just a competition, but a week full of fun where some of the best memories are made. I especially love the week leading up to Nationals, when we have spirit week and the excitement and energy are high for what’s to come.

My advice to younger dancers is to always say YES! Take every opportunity given to you and put yourself out there. Don’t be afraid of what other people think or say, always do what’s best for you, and never stop having fun with dance.💙

💙When the big kids ask for a special day to bond…you make it happen. Love these kids and this team. Graduating Seniors…the countdown is real!
