Thank you to my bestie Cathy Rinaldi for these 2 beautiful afghans she donated to the "Day of Golf," fundraiser, sponsored by the Wonderland Wizards Youth Hockey Association.

The golf tournament will take place on Monday, October 24, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Grear River Golf Club in Milford.

All proceeds go to scholarships for players of the Wonderland Wizards, in memory of the late Charlie Capalbo of Faifield.

The cost is $395 per golfer, and includes lunch, dinner, a silent auction, a live auction and a raffle.

We still are looking for golfers, as well as auction & raffle items.

And, SKATE New Haven @ the Ralph Walker Rink has reopened.

Felix & his crew @ the Wonderland of Ice have brought their magic to SKATE New Haven @ the Ralph Walker Rink.

Work has been going on all week, and the rink/ice look fantastic.

The grand reopening of SKATE New Haven is next weekend...

We will be posting the schedule of events as soon as everything is finalzied (hopefully, by next Tuesday or Wednesday).

Plus, we are putting the final touches on the SKATE New Haven website.

This is going to be an exciting year, with lots of great things happening at SKATE New Haven.
