What a week in Fargo!

A huge congratulations to our 2026 USA Wrestling Fargo All-Americans representing South Side Wrestling Club:

Jaxsen Bailey – 4th Place, Greco-Roman
Joey Cotter – 6th Place, Freestyle
Max Konopka – 7th Place, Freestyle
Chase Kastner – 8th Place, Greco-Roman

41 total athletes from SSWC competed and put in countless hours of hard work, discipline, and commitment. Fargo is one of the toughest wrestling tournaments in the country, and bringing home four All-Americans is something our entire South Side family can be proud of.

Thank you to our coaches, training partners, parents, and everyone who continues to support these athletes throughout the season. The work doesn’t stop here—we’re just getting started.

Kayla Batres, Pan Am Silver Medalist 🥈

Congratulations to Kayla on earning Silver at The U20 Pan American Championships in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil!

Joe Mahoney has arrived in Skopje, North Macedonia to compete at the U20 European Wrestling Championships representing Great Britain 🇬🇧 at 65 kg! Men’s Freestyle will start on July 10th. LFG! 🔥

ALL ARE WELCOME!!! All ladies heading to Fargo are free! Come train with a 6 x Finnish National Champion!

Kayla Batres has landed in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and ready to represent Team Guatemala 🇬🇹 at the U20 Pan American Championships. Women’s Freestyle begins 7/10 at 10am! LFG!!!

South Side WC has 41 athletes headed to Fargo, 1 to U20 Pan Ams and 1 to the European Games. The Hay is in the Barn! Trust your training and let it rip! See you all on the other side!
