Bridgewater legion baseball Post 203

For any players interested in fall baseball the Metro South League will begin around Sunday September 10 for approximately 7 Sundays. More than likely we will be having 9 inning games with wood bats and 2 umpires. Anyone interested please let me know.

I will be contacting all players over the next couple of weeks to turn in their uniforms and to return their birth certificates. Im waiting on batting practice oullovers to come in then everything can be done at the same time. Thank you to all parents and players for your efforts this season. Lastly not the results that we wanted this season but will will build off it and come back a new team next their. Thx JB

Good game today with alot of solid offense. Jamie Sheedy pitched a solid 5 innings with Connor Nichols coming in relief for 3 strong innings. Offensively Bridgewater was led by Connor Nichols who went 4/5 with an rbi and a stolen base. Luke Ronayne had another solid game going 3/4 with 3rbi's and some outstanding defense in left field. Jack Haley had 3 hits with 3 rbis. Kieran Karson had 2 hits and 2 rbi's. Drew Donna went 2/3 with an rbi and Ben Defilippo went 2/3 with 3 rbis. Next game is Sunday at 5pm sunday vs. Whitman at BR

Good win today Bridgewater 2 Pembroke 1. Great pitching performance from Jack Haley who threw a complete game while striking out 4. Nichols, Wensely, Bates, Haley, Goonan and Defilippo all had hits. Next game Wednesday 535 in Hingham.

Big upcoming week of games. ....in Pembroke on Monday. Wednesday in Hingham. Thursday in Whitman [which isnt on the schedule] and friday at home against Sandwich. All games are a 535 PM.

Tough loss today to Rockland 6-4. Solid pitching in relief from Brendan Goonan for 5 innings after Christian Bates left after the first with some discomfort. Solid offensive performance from Kieran Karson who had 3 hits, 2 singles and a double with an rbi. Casey Wensely hit triple and a double off of the top of the fence with 2 runs scored. Brendan Goonan had 2 hits and an rbi. Next game tomorrow night at the Baker School in Brokton 535 start time.

Tough loss tonight to Hanover 5-0. Solid pitching efforts from Connor Nichols and Jack Haley. Next game is thursday at home vs Rockland at 535.
