Myles Jackson wins !!!! Some names go on the board. Some names change it.
At 18, Myles Jackson is one of the youngest Club Champions in Raritan Valley history — and he got there by beating Jason Bataille, a player who’s spent years near the top of the amateur game in New Jersey and across the MGA section.
Myles plays his golf at Delbarton, with Jon Dugenio on the bag all week. Jason had Sean Marikakis alongside him. Two caddies who earned every bit of the walk.
And standing there for the whole thing was Myles’ father, Tyrone Jackson — the kind of moment a family doesn’t forget.
To every player who teed it up, thank you. To Head Professional Brian Battista, Assistant Professional Chris Panny, and Tyler Koerber, who were out there all week making this championship run the way it should — thank you. And to our grounds crew, who gave us a golf course worthy of it.
