Schools in England Introduce a New Subject: Mindfulness As mental health problems among children increase, the government will try having students practice mindfulness, relaxation and breathing exercises.

I was at The Toy Box yesterday and found these magical creatures called Manimo Weighted Plush Animals✨They are SO cool!!!

Why are they SO cool and magical? Because....
These weighted animals are recommended for all children, but were designed specifically for children with ADD, ADHD, ASD, anxiety or other disorders. They weigh between 1 - 2.5 kg and they can be used by children ages three and up, with adult supervision.

Soft and pliable, a manimo can be placed on the child’s most receptive body parts: shoulders, waist, thighs and stomach. It is recommended that children use it for 15-20-minute periods to stimulate rest and/or concentration.

These are some truly great ideas, and good for any age! Enjoy :)

4-week Spring Yoga Session!!!

Ages 7-9ish (6 and 10 are of course welcome!)
Sundays 10:30am- 11:30am
April 2, 9, 23, 30 (no class on Easter Sunday)

Cost: $45/child for 4-week session
or $15/child per drop in class

Children should wear comfortable clothing and bring a small water. Yoga mats will be available for use at the studio, or bring your own! Call, text, or e-mail to register for this session before spaces fill up.
