Hello gym family!! I will be back starting next week. I’ve missed you all. The 1/2 marathon was harder on me than I thought and I’m finally feeling recovered.
Now that we have a 1/2 marathon under our belts in New Hampshire, let’s do one in Raynham in December. It’ll be fun she said... there’s great course support she said... THERE’S A HUGE FEAST AFTER she said...
I just secured Marcia Bagley to be my accountability person starting on August 26th for 4 mornings...sorry I was still in celebration mode from my anniversary this morning or I would have been there....anyhoo...why don't we all find that person this fall that will say hey where the heck are you when you don't show up and then they make you do burpees or jumping jacks to ensure you will not do that again.
Just finished the Easter egg hunt workout, it was so much fun. Thank you very much Ashley for organizing this and making it a blast to work out. Did not know our rewards came with penalties. 😂😂. Great job everyone!! 💕💕

It was very relaxing and harder than I thought. And also thank you to Becca for the new STRONG class. It also was my first time doing that class. Great way to end my morning. Now I’m ready for some football !!! Thank you for such a variety Ashley. I absolutely love it❤️❤️❤️

Today’s myth: ⚠️Spot reduction⚠️
Don’t believe the Instagram workouts that claim to make you just lose belly fat or the creams that claim to make you shed weight wherever you rub it into! Spot reduction is not real, the only way to lose weight in a certain area is to shed it all around. You can train certain muscles to become stronger but you cannot train certain areas to become thinner.
