As Yom Kippur begins, we take a moment to pause, reflect, and look inward. Known as the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, a time for prayer, forgiveness, making amends, and seeking a fresh start in the year ahead.

The themes of Yom Kippur, compassion, reflection, forgiveness, and renewal, offer meaningful reminders for all of us, regardless of how we observe or celebrate.

Wishing our entire JCC community a peaceful and meaningful day. To those observing Yom Kippur, we wish you a meaningful fast. May this sacred time bring peace, reflection, and renewal in the year ahead.

JCC Facility Reminder: The JCC will close at 3:00 PM today, September 20, and remain closed through tomorrow, Monday, September 21, in observance of Yom Kippur. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, September 22.

Making a difference, one ear of corn at a time!
Yesterday, our members volunteered with Grow a Row, an organization that connects volunteers with local farms to harvest fresh produce for those in need.
Along with other volunteers, we helped fill 25 boxes with 18,000 lbs. of corn, providing enough to serve an estimated 72,000 people!
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make a difference!🌽💛
