Hello Friends,
Autumn arrives with its magnificent textures and unmistakable invitations. The brilliance of oranges, reds, and lingering greens. The crispness in the air, the familiar scent of fallen leaves, the changing temperatures, and, of course, everything pumpkin!
There is so much beauty in this season. Yet, just beyond autumn's colorful display, winter waits quietly on its heels.
The days grow shorter. Darkness arrives earlier. We begin layering our clothing, spending more time indoors, and perhaps noticing a shift in our energy and mood.
Nature is changing its rhythm, and whether we realize it or not, we are being invited to change ours as well.
For some, winter is a welcome season of stillness. For others, the long nights and colder days can feel challenging. And unless you happen to be one of those lovely snowbirds heading south, we must meet it.
So, what if we approached this winter a little differently?
Rather than simply enduring, we embraced her.
We create some rituals/ routines to have a steady ground this time around.
Research suggests that predictable routines can help reduce stress and support emotional regulation. Having familiar rhythms in our days may offer a sense of stability when the world around us feels uncertain or when the seasons challenge our energy.
But I am not suggesting we fill our calendars with more things to do.
Quite the opposite.
I am speaking of creating meaningful rhythms that nourish us. Movement that feels good in our bodies. Moments of quiet. Time outdoors. Warmth. Nourishing food. Meaningful conversation. And perhaps the simple pleasure of having something to look forward to.
Rituals that become anchors rather than obligations.
This is part of what I hope to cultivate through The Tapestry of Being.
An opportunity to move through the changing seasons with greater awareness, supported by intentional practices and a community of women who are also exploring what it means to live more consciously.
Perhaps winter does not have to be a season we simply get through.
Perhaps it can become a season we learn to inhabit more fully.
The Fall & Winter Immersion “Tapestry of Being” is bringing together a beautiful Diversity of women together.
A lovely group of women, each arriving from a different place in life. Some are professionals navigating the demands of work and personal life. Others are finding themselves at a crossroads, exploring new directions and making course corrections. And some have stepped away from the workforce and are now embracing the opportunity to discover who they are beyond the roles and responsibilities that have defined so much of their lives.
Different backgrounds. Different seasons of life. Different stories.
Yet there is a beautiful common thread: a curiosity about ourselves, a desire for meaningful connection, and a willingness to explore what this next chapter of life might hold.
I am especially excited about the richness that each woman will bring to our gatherings. The perspectives, experiences, wisdom, laughter, and even the questions we carry all become part of what we create together.
And speaking of what we are creating together, I wanted to share a few more details about what awaits us this season!
While self-inquiry, yoga, and personal exploration remain at the heart of our time together, I have been thoughtfully weaving in experiences that invite us to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
There are a few things I am particularly excited about!
Let's Talk About the Sauna! ~ We are so fortunate to have Nurture through Nature so close by.
Yes, we will be enjoying monthly sauna experiences throughout our immersion!
These monthly gatherings will offer an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the warmth, and experience the restorative pleasure of the sauna as the seasons change around us. And take a dip in the brook if the cold calls to you.

And Then, There Is the Food! Food is Love
If you have attended one of my immersions before, you know that food is an important part of our gatherings.
I love preparing beautiful, nourishing meals and creating an atmosphere where we can sit together, enjoy good food, share conversation, and perhaps have a few good laughs.
We will continue this tradition with delicious food each time we meet.
And a bonus,,You Asked. I Listened. We Are Creating a Cookbook!
I have received so many requests over the years for the recipes from our immersion meals.
This year, I am bringing each meal into a cookbook.
I love the thought of these recipes finding their way into your kitchens, becoming part of your own gatherings, and perhaps being shared with family and friends.
A wonderful keepsake from our months together.
Of Course, There Is So Much More...
Our immersion will also include yoga, meditation, mindful movement, self-inquiry, time in nature, and meaningful dialogue.
We will have our three-day silent retreat in December, along with weekly reflections, course materials, optional Zoom gatherings, and opportunities for continued connection and support.
Each element has been thoughtfully chosen to create a balance between personal exploration, community, movement, rest, and simply enjoying life.
My hope is that our time together offers something we don't always make room for in our everyday lives: the opportunity to explore ourselves while also enjoying the experience of being alive.
Good food. Warmth. Movement. Stillness. Nature. Conversation. Laughter.
And a wonderful group of women to share it all with.
