We want to give a HUGE congratulations to Aaron Kubala on being this year’s Tahoe 200 first place finisher!!

Aaron crossed the finish line in an incredible 48:09:30, beating the course record by more than an hour. 💪🤯

The Blackwood team doesn’t stop!!! Evan, our brand manager, finished the Summer Trail Fest Ultra (S**U) 50K, Half Marathon, & 5 Mile 50 miler ultra in 10 hours, 23 minutes!☀️🐆

Not only did Evan place 9th overall, but he also finished 5th in the male category and 1st in his age group😤 then he flew to California to pace Jay for Tahoe 200, EVAN IS UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

He came, he saw, he conquered. And it’s been decided that after 1,500 miles Jay Van is retiring his pack.

We know what you’re thinking - yes that is a large amount of Jay’s blood on the bag.

He earned that Tahoe 200 buckle through blood, sweat, and tears!

And…. HE’S DONE IT❤️‍🔥👏🏼⛰️ Jay has conquered Tahoe 200 2026 in 80 hours, 57 minutes. One unforgettable journey, congrats Jay!!
