✨ CCTC SPOTLIGHT: Rose Cugliari ✨ Tennis has been part of Rose’s life for as long as she can remember. Her mom and two sisters all played, and in 1975, Rose even served as a ball girl for the professional Cleveland Nets. She still loves the competition and challenge and feels especially lucky that her daughter, Meghan, shares that same passion.
After three decades of playing, her USTA team reached Nationals, making the accomplishment even more meaningful! Rose volunteers her time with THRiVE Through Tennis Foundation, where she enjoys seeing firsthand the positive impact tennis can have while giving back to a sport that has been such an important part of her life.
Outside of tennis, Rose enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, along with traveling and reading. We’re grateful to have Rose as part of our tennis family and appreciate all she brings to our community. ❤️

Built on a foundation of skills, teamwork, and connection, our comprehensive ROGY program helps kids to build their tennis skills and develop their game through engaging drills, match play, and team based activities.

The fall Men’s Doubles League kicked off last night with great matches and lots of friendly competition!

Congratulations, Nancy, on being named a 2026 35 x 35 IMPACT award recipient! The 35 x 35 initiative is USTA’s goal of reaching 35 million tennis players by 2035. Nancy was recognized for the positive impact she makes through tennis at Center Court and Thrive Through Tennis and her commitment to growing the game.
She celebrated with an invitation to the US Open, enjoying dinner, drinks, and tennis from the USTA President’s Suite, with Brian as her guest.

Peggy Toczek is part of the THRiVE Through Tennis, Come to the NET program for adults with neurological differences. 🎾 Living with Parkinson’s Disease, Peggy began the program as part of her recovery journey to improve her movement, range of motion, balance and endurance. Along the way, she found even more… “THRiVE gives me a purpose! The people- including instructors, pros, and volunteers- are friendly, like family”.
We’re proud to share Peggy’s story and celebrate how tennis is so much more than exercise—it’s connection and community that extends beyond the court.

✨ CCTC SPOTLIGHT: Sue Onuska ✨ Sue discovered tennis almost by accident. After she and her husband, Jeff, decided to get more active, Sue bought Jeff a gift certificate for tennis lessons. Just before it expired, they took a lesson with Muriel—Sue fell in love with the game!
She’s played on USTA teams for many years—this year both teams advanced to Districts, with one going on to win the State Championship!
After retiring from a career in accounting and sales, Sue stays active by volunteering as a school classroom reading volunteer and coaching on-court with THRiVE Through Tennis.
Outside of tennis, Sue enjoys pickleball, golf, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her great-niece and great-nephew.

Great weekend at the CSC Clay Court Championships! Teamwork made the dream work for Mason Lin and Elijah O’Connor — 12U DOUBLES CHAMPIONS! 🏆 Mason also took home a trophy as the 12U consolation winner! Well done guys!
