BBHHS Bees Bowling

A huge thank you goes out to the family of Todd and Amy Kooser, who made a generous donation to win an auction during the BBH schools foundation fundraiser! This auction awarded their family and friends some lane time with some of our top Varsity bowlers. Our BBH bowlers shared some tips and provided feedback and demonstrations for some of our younger students. A great time was had by all. Thank you, Kooser family, Seven Hills Lanes, and the Varsity bowlers who volunteered their time to help cultivate the love of our beloved sport! As always, let’s go

As a special thank you to the BBHTS schools foundation and with a generous donation from Brecksville parent Mrs Kooser and Seven Hills Lanes, our varsity high school team will be able to bowl at Seven Hills Lanes on Saturday May 9th from 10am-noon. Our varsity team will be bowling and helping younger kids/others learn how to bowl. This is a free event with pizza and pop. Varsity bowlers, please let me know via final forms if you can attend. We will email you shortly.

We watched Springfield Ohio’s Chris Via bowl a 300!

So much fun! Today we got to watch 72 PBA bowlers compete and 24 advance! We were in the front row! Isabella got a free ball from PBA Ryan Barnes! Nick got a signed jersey from PBA Kyle Troup (via sick Jesper Svensson)! Zak, Isabella and Desmond will ball caddy on the lanes tonight with their assigned PBA bowler! Zak got a ton of autographs! Let’s go! 👏👏👏👏👏👊💥

So much fun! A big thank you to Mrs Yocum for all you help and for buying extra pizzas for the kids! The van ride was so fun! We parked next to EJ Tackett and Belmo and said hello to them. Kids got tons of pro advice! Marshall Kent, Patrick PD Dom Dombrowski, and so many others were so great to us! See some of you on Thursday! Go Jesper Svensson! If he ends up in the top 5, we will be on TV Sunday on the CW network.

The championship field includes top teams such as Vanderbilt, Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, and Youngstown State, among others. This also includes individual championships for division 1, 2 & 3.

Attention High School Bowlers, Please note that the high school bowling league will commence on March 31, rather than the initially scheduled March 17. Due to an exceptional response and ongoing league commitments, we require additional time to accommodate all participants. The revised schedule, detailed on the accompanying flyer, spans from March 31 to June 2 and concludes on June 9. A bakers tournament will be held, with awards to be presented for the season as well as the tournament. We invite a few more teams to join us; kindly notify Roseland if the new dates pose any issues for your team. Prospective teams are encouraged to register at their earliest convenience.

Congratulations to your 2025-2026 varsity boy bowling Bees for finishing the season with 10 wins and setting a new school win record! 👊💥 We ended the regular season beating Nordonia and going 10-3. Great games by Senior captain Jack DeMario (181), Junior Nick McCrodden (171) and Junior Zak Kuscevic (209). It was a tough oil shot on the lanes tonight. Strikes were hard to come by.

The varsity girls lost a tough match to a very good Nordonia squad. The girls finish with a 9-3 record! Juniors Isabella Yocum (161), Alyssa Jones (150) and Ellery Hodges (156) were impressive!

The JV boys and girls lost. The JV boys were lead by Senior Ben Gleine (131) and Junior Jakub Ostroski (170). The JV girls were led by Freshmen Maya Cox (115), Corinne Hodges (124) and Senior Ellie Batcheller (106). Great job everyone!
