Husker fans!
8 days away from first watch party at Winking Lizard in Lakewood for the noon game on Saturday, September 5! For those of you who have already responded no need to respond again but for those who have not rsvp’ed please let me know so I can notify the managers of how many people we are expecting. Also, Marlo had an idea when she saw the back of my van of a window decal from the club I led in Dayton years ago (Miami Valley Huskers) we had this decal made and sold for like $2/per. Chatgpt created a potential mock decal.What do you guys think? Interested, which one? GBR!!

Husker fans,
It is about that time again! Kickoff game 1 is set for noon, Saturday September 5 against Ohio Bobcats! I have talked to the managers at the Winking Lizard in Lakewood and they are excited to host us again! Since the Buckeyes are playing their opener against Ball State at 12:30 it is unlikely we will get sound. Of course ,if we outnumber the buckeye fans they may reconsider! So I can give them a headcount, can you please let me know if you can attend and how many people will be in your party. If you ever listen to Big Ten radio on SiriusXM I gave a challenge to a local Buckeye fan “Mike from Cleveland” that there will be more Husker fans than Buckeye fans there! So let’s prove it.

There was enough interest so we will be having a watch party at the Avon Lake Buffalo Wild Wings, 32914 Walker Road. I tried a couple other places but Thursday nights are popular Karaoke and trivia nights so went with BW3. Hope to see you there!

Husker fans,
This will be a first, a watch party for a Sweet Sixteen basketball game! Gauging interest for a watch party for the 7;30pm game against Iowa on Thursday, March 26th. Location will be determined once I assess the interest. Could do at Winking Lizard in Lakewood but if only west siders respond, then I will do a bit closer to Avon/Avon Lake. Can you let me know if you would attend and a preferred location?

Husker fans,
Certainly not the way we wanted the season to end with the loss against Iowa and now with the likely transfer of Dylan Raiola and the changes in the coaching staff. We do still have a bowl game on New Year’s eve! I am getting a case of FOMO as I have not attended a bowl game in person since December 31 os 2016. Regardless of what I decide to do, I would like to have a watch party for the bowl game which is on Wednesday the 31st at 3:30pm. Given the time of day, purpose of this post is to assess the interest in a watch party and location. Last year we had a bowl game watch party on a Saturday at noon at the Avon Lake BW3 and had around 20 people attend. We could also do at our normal location, Winking Lizard in Lakewood. Please let me know 1) if interested and how many people and 2) location preference 3) if anyone is going to Vegas to attend in person

Husker fans,
Good environment, great fans and a great campus but lousy game for the Huskers against Penn State. Now onto Iowa on Friday at noon which will be an extremely tough game as it usually is. Remember this is a very young team starting a true freshman quarterback. Have to ignore the noise about Dylan potentially going to transfer portal and win the game! I will be unable to make it to Winking Lizard in Lakewood but I am sure they will have a table or tables for us if we decide to go there on Friday and watch the game! Once a bowl game is determined I will communicate regarding bowl game!

Husker fans!
The bye week is so much more fun after a win! Nice win against UCLA with a true freshman QB, TJ Lateef! Now on to a much tougher opponent at Penn State in a whiteout game on Saturday November 22 at 7:00 pm. My son and I decided to make the 4 hour journey to State College and will be attending so if anyone wants to meet us for tailgating message me and we can meet up. Would still like to have a watch party at Winking Lizard in Lakewood so RSVP and let me know if you wish to attend!
