Massasoit's Hawkins collects DIII Player of the Year Ty Hawkins named NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball Player of the Year presented by TicketSmarter
We learned this evening that Warrior Baseball’s spring season has come to an end. Protecting the health and safety of not only our student-athletes but community is paramount.
I cannot fully express in words my appreciation for the hard work of the 25 young men who brought the passion and intensity every day to practice. These are strong and resilient guys who stepped up and exceeded the very high expectations we as coaches set every day. The work they put in showed in our short, three game season with two come-from-behind wins. I trust the winning would have continued and will continue in 2021.
Thank you players, parents, coaches, Warrior athletics staff, college staff, faculty, and administration for your support this fall and spring!
Be safe!

Warriors Take Series From Hawks
After splitting the twin bill in Saturday’s season opener, Warriors Baseball took Sunday’s rubber game and the series over Mohawk Valley Community College 14-9.
Starter Mason Farias (Tiverton, RI/Tiverton HS) pitched five innings of two hit shutout baseball striking out five and walking none. The Warrior bullpen surrendered the lead in the 7th but the bats responded in kind pushing five runs across in the 8th. Freshmen Daryan Rogers (Fall River, Mass./Diman Regional), Eric Lebreault-Guzman (New Bedford, Mass./New Bedford HS) and Josh Truehart (Brockton, Mass./Brockton HS) led the offense with each recording two hits. Truehart’s two hits were of the three-bag variety.
Reliever Ryan Austin (Taunton, Mass./Bristol-Plymouth) finished the game and was the pitcher of record earning his first career victory.
The Warriors are in action next weekend as they head to Syracuse, New York for a double dip against Onadaga Community College on Saturday.
Warriors Baseball split a doubleheader today with Mohawk Valley including a 5-4 walk-off game two victory. Starter DJ Lopes (Dartmouth, Mass/New Bedford Vocational) earned the complete game win recording 8 strikeouts. Freshman centerfielder Bryce Evans (Hull, Mass./Hull HS) had two hits, two runs, and two RBIs including his first career homerun.
Thank you Watertown Parks and Recreation for accommodating the Warriors in the last minute change to the game site.
The rubber game of the series will be played tomorrow at Victory Field in Watertown. First pitch slated for 11am. Freshman RHP Mason Farias (Tiverton, RI/Tiverton HS) is the scheduled starter.
Due to accumulation of snow in Taunton, the location of games has been changed to Victory Field. 40 Orchard St., Watertown, Mass
