Since 2009 I've had the privilege of volunteering for the Arkansas Reel Recovery. Most of those years I served as a river buddy. The past six or seven years I have served as the retreat photographer. This is a men's cancer retreat, it's tough at times. For the next two and half days they worry about nothing but, what are we eating next and where are we fishing next. I'll be completely honest, it is a life changing experience. Not only for the cancer participants, but for volunteers as well. It has truly changed the outlook on my own life. Open Tying Night at the shop this Thursday, 9/18! 6:30-8:30pm, FREE. Bring your own vise, tools, etc. to tie whatever you want, or just come hang out and watch someone else tie! This is not a class, it's just a time to hang out and tie some flies.

We're covering it all! 6:30-8:30pm, $40/person. We'll talk through rigging for trout, Smallmouth, and striper, as well as leader builds, tippet materials, the necessary tools, among other things! Call the shop or swing by to pay for your spot and get locked in!
