Central Park Community Center will be closed on Monday, September 7th, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Do your kiddos need something fun to do during Fall Break? Bring them to Zombie Camp at Central Park Community Center for a day packed with zombie-themed adventures, survival challenges, and hands-on fun!

Campers will learn survival skills, build zombie armor and shields, complete scavenger hunts, test their aim at the zombie target range, conquer obstacle courses, and work together to survive the zombie apocalypse. It's a day full of teamwork, creativity, and action!

This month's theme is Oktoberfest, where young chefs ages 7–12 will explore fun, hands-on cooking while creating dishes inspired by classic Oktoberfest flavors. Participants will build kitchen confidence, learn new culinary skills, and enjoy making tasty recipes each week.

Discover the beauty of fall through art at Afternoon in the Garden, a free three-part watercolor experience for youth ages 7–12 at Central Park Community Center!

Participants will spend each class outdoors in the Central Park Gardens, learning watercolor techniques while creating a single painting that develops over all three sessions. This instructor-led program is a great opportunity for young artists to connect with nature, build artistic skills, and express their creativity in a relaxing outdoor setting.

Classes will be held on October 7th, 14th, and 21st from 5:00–6:00 PM. All supplies are provided, and registration is free. Registration is open now until Monday, October 5th.
