Play. Three lit courts at $20 per court per half hour, with $5 paddle rentals.

Putt. Nine holes of mini golf at $7 per person, which is the one everybody can play.

A court is $20 per court, per half hour. A paddle rental is $5. Mini golf is $7 per person for all nine holes. Tuesday open play is $5 per person, 7 to 9 PM.

"Sip, Play, Stay" isn't just a slogan — it's pretty much our whole Saturday.

Lara and Philip started Pickle Putt Pour because our family fell for pickleball on a trip to Austin, and Broken Bow was already our favorite place to get away. So we built the spot we wished existed here: courts, mini golf, and cold drinks, all in one place, all outside.

Broken Bow weather does whatever it wants, and we planned for that.

The covered pergola lounge and the covered pavilion both have seating, so when a shower blows through, your whole group has somewhere shaded to sit with a beer or a glass of wine rather than waiting it out in the car.

Here is the thing nobody tells you about a pickleball place: the kids need somewhere to be.

So there is a playground and a gaga ball pit right there, in sight of the courts. And nine holes of mini golf at $7 per person, which is the great equalizer. A seven-year-old will beat you at it and never let it go.

Courts are $20 per court per half hour and paddles are $5. Beer and wine for whoever is not putting, and shaded seating for whoever is just watching.

The long weekend is behind us, traffic through Hochatown has thinned out, and this is honestly our favorite kind of week out here.
